Reactivating a Retired Asset
To reactivate a retired asset, go to the Assets form and mark the Show Retired Assets checkbox, so that the retired assets are displayed.
How to Reactivate a Retired Asset
The steps that follow outline how to reactivate a retired asset. When an asset is unretired, it becomes active again and asset operations may be performed on it.
Note: An asset must reside in a site-location to be available for check out functions.
- To reactive an asset that is retired, click the Unretire icon. A dialog prompt appears asking you to confirm that you want to "unretire" this asset.
- To reactive this asset, close the dialog prompt, and return to the Assets form, click OK.
- To keep the asset retired, close the dialog, and return to the Assets form, click Cancel.
- When an asset is un-retired, it will appear in the grid with the Retire icon .
- If you want to add this asset to the asset inventory, select the Edit icon to place the asset in Edit mode.
- Select a site-location for this asset via the Site field and Location field. Select the Save icon.
